Session 1: Moderated roundtables – key industry opportunities, challenges, areas of innovation

Bringing together professionals from across the classic and collectible car ecosystem, these moderated roundtables provided an open forum for discussion on some of the most pressing issues facing the industry. Participants explored emerging opportunities, shared challenges and areas of innovation across the market, from evolving collector behaviour and technological developments to changing business models and industry best practices. Particular attention was given to fostering dialogue, exchanging perspectives and identifying ideas that could help shape the future of the sector. 

Session 2: Data, Digital and AI – New frontiers in the classic car industry

This session explored how data, digital technologies and artificial intelligence are beginning to transform the classic and collectible car industry, creating new opportunities for analysis, decision-making and customer engagement. Discussions examined the application of emerging technologies across the ecosystem, from market intelligence and valuation tools to digital customer experiences, content creation and operational efficiency. Particular attention was given to the opportunities, limitations and future implications of these innovations, highlighting how technology can support the evolution of the industry while preserving the authenticity and heritage that define the classic car world.

Session 3: Craftsmanship and skills development in the ‘next century’ Classics

This session explored the critical role that craftsmanship, specialist expertise and knowledge transfer will play in the future of the classic and collectible car industry. Discussions focused on the importance of preserving not only historic vehicles, but also the skills required to maintain, restore and understand them. Particular attention was given to education, training and workforce development, examining how workshops, institutions and industry leaders can ensure that traditional knowledge continues to thrive while adapting to the evolving needs of future generations of collectors and professionals.
